The End Result

I eventually found another builder to complete my new porch. This family outfit worked in all weathers - having first erected a tarpaulin to keep the rain off. The job was completed almost within the 3 weeks (Davies had wanted another 6 weeks). There was a slight delay due to finding that Davies had damaged the original front door when removing it and it took a couple of days to find a replacement.

I’m entirely happy with the new porch - and I think it looks very smart.
