Hiring Stephen Davies (trading as Davies & Co)  to replace a porch was one of the worst decisions I’ve made.

Basically:

  he used various excuses for the time the work was taking

  his workmanship was shoddy

  his contract terms are unfair

  he does not keep promises he makes

  he lies

It contains records of our WhatsApp and email exchanges and copies of court documents from my case against him for damages ­– and the Bailiff’s report that states that his property is now unoccupied and they cannot serve the warrant.

In the end, I found another (honest) builder who completed the work for me in a reasonable time and for a reasonable price. The final (almost) result can be seen here:
